ABOUT US

Tunjung believes, sharing her love through her work is one of important offerings she can give to the world.

The retreats are formed with the aim of learning, growing and guiding people to find the freedom within themselves to live life with peace. The programs and activities are designed to go back to the inner self, starting with acknowledgement and self-acceptance. Fully be able to understand the situation from all perspectives. Becoming able to forgive; self and situation, as well as to be grateful for every single thing happens in life, small and big.

Together we learn how to take responsibility in our life. Claiming our day-to-day feelings and thoughts and happiness. Classwork is completed in small and big groups. Workshop is a preview – few hours session. While retreats are formed in three, five and seven days. Healing sessions are one-on-one meetings with Tunjung at her healing room in Ubud.

Besides workshop and retreat programs, Tunjung also has “giving back” activities, with people (Balinese, Indonesians, and many multi-international groups), by giving free classes and sessions. This is her way of sharing her love and gratefulness.

I’m not a witch, nor a healer, nor a shaman, nor a guru
I am the soul that is born to this human body to learn the knowledge about the soul itself
And therefore, I was given a task in this lifetime to be a mother
To nurture and to love, and to share wisdom from my own self-learning

I’ve learned from everything and anything
Everything is my teacher
Including things that I’d throw in the loo
Sounds disgusting, but that’s the truth

In every breath I take, I’ve tried to dissolve me
But I’m still very far from that
My ego that’s up to the sky has brought so many colors in my life
With variable taste
Which is okay; some parts I like, some parts I don’t
Overall, I like it so much
I am the soul, that’s experiencing the human body
I need to become one but detach from it

Am I enlightened? I don’t know
Am I awakened? I don’t know
Doesn’t really matter

My vision of life is still the same since I was a child
I only have one purpose, that hasn’t changed
To share with many souls that they are loved
Especially the souls of the innocent children
Children are the roots of the earth and humanity of the future

I believe
As we are in parallel energies
We are all connected to one another
In the collective awareness
I choose to only participate in collective love
Touching the soul through love,
Activates the sacred love within many souls,
Those souls will share and touch one another with love
And love heals wounds

Call me anything, it’s okay
As long as it’s useful for anyone and anything
I am grateful

Inspiring others to shine their true, authentic light and beauty, she believes that “together, we can achieve many things”

After decades of specializing in Chinese Literature (National Tsing Hua University, Taiwan), Chinese Language and Moral Education (National Institute of Education, Singapore) and Chinese Studies (National University of Singapore, Singapore), Ayu moved to Bali in year 2015. There, she found her authentic spirit and discovered her gift as an intuitive healer.

After years of using her gift helping people become their true, authentic, powerful self, she shares her experiences and exploration in women’s circles, women’s retreats and on-line courses in China.

Her themes of sharing are mainly about ‘Relationship’, ’Emotion’, ’Knowing one self’ and ‘Expressing one true’. She works very well with others, as she believes: ‘together, we can achieve many things.’. Ayu’s present attitude, courage to ride the wave, and self-initiated action in her own life experience, allows her to gain awareness and understanding of her own strengths and weaknesses. This, in turn, allows her to interrelate to others; easily tapping into other’s inner stories and contradictions through honest conversation.

Ayu imagines herself as a self-responsible human who inspires others to shine their true, authentic light and beauty. She wishes to share to more people, the principles of ‘I can live my life, question my experience and change my personal circumstances’.

Peter Clifford

He embodies the qualities of grace, humour, compassion and non-judgement

Peter is the founder and director of Anahata Yoga, senior yoga teacher (E-RYT 500) and teacher of the Five Element Form. Peter has studied and practiced yoga for 52 years. He has had the honour of studying with many wise and knowledgeable teachers in India including Swami Shankara, Swami Sarasvati, TKV Desikachar, AG Mohan, BKS Iyengar and Rishi Nityabhodananda. Combining his study of Anahata Yoga with a lifelong interest in learning about bio-mechanics, postural integration, anatomy and physiology, Peter has developed the unique, powerful and comprehensive Anahata Yoga philosophy, which manifests in asana as the Dance of Shiva and Shakti.

Peter’s teaching style reflects his experience as a household yogi and his training in Assam, India. He embodies the qualities of grace, humour, compassion and non-judgement, and provides his students with the tools to apply the philosophy of yoga to all aspects of daily life. His classes are joyous, opening and transformational.

PETER’S JOURNEY

Peter commenced the study of yoga in 1963 at University to complement his studies of civil engineering and discovered the wealth of benefits that it contained. This began a lifelong exploration of the inner conscious aspects of yoga and its many different paths.

After commencing studies in Hatha and Raja yoga in 1963, a deepening interest in yoga led Peter to travel through North East India into Assam. Here he studied Tattwa Shuddhi Sadhana (the Five Element Form) with an Aghor Tantric Sadhu Shankara at the Kamakhya temple near the city of Guwahata, where he was taught Anahata Yoga and became proficient in the Five Element Form. Over a period of 50 years, Peter has practiced and studied this ancient form and he is one of only five yogis around the world entrusted by his teachers to impart the knowledge of the Five Element Form to his own students.

Peter continued his yoga journey and studied Iyengar Yoga with BKS Iyengar, Nicky Knoff and James Bryant. In the 1980s he continued his Iyengar studies with Michele Besnard in Noosa and in 1992, he was trained in the theory and practice of Hatha yoga, anatomy and physiology by Swami Sarasvati and became a qualified Yoga teacher recognised by the Australian Yoga Masters Association.

While teaching yoga internationally, he also studied with TKV Desikachar and AG Mohan of the Krishnamacharya Yoga tradition, which is similar to the Anahata Yoga tradition of Assam. Following a serious motorcycle accident in 1997, Peter commenced studies in Vinni Yoga with TKV Desikachar, the son of Krishnamacharya, his wife, Menaka, and later with Desikachar’s son Kaustub. With the goal of personal rehabilitation, Peter studied the internal aspects of therapeutic yoga and his knowledge in this area was further deepened through his studies with AG Mohan and his wife Indra in 2003.

In 2002, Peter opened Anahata Yoga in Byron Bay after he had contributed as a teacher to the development of the 2000 Yoga Arts Certificate IV in Yoga Teacher Training, the first government accredited yoga qualification in Australia. He has been involved with the development and teaching of numerous teacher training courses around the world.

Peter is presently teaching Anahata Yoga internationally and studying ancient yogic texts with Rishi Nityabhodanana of the Satyananda Yoga tradition to complement his Anahata Yoga philosophy teachings.
